Welcome to a new community website for the Town of Didcot.

Didcot is a growing town in the south of Oxfordshire, placed near the beautiful River Thames, Whitenham Clumps and near the Ramblers favourite walking route, the Ridgeway. With excellent transport links making this a perfect town for commuters, and businesses. The town is a vibrant community with a growing town populace, with the west of Didcot soon to be transformed by a new housing and community plan.

With major employers in the Milton Part industrial estate, the Didcot Power Station, and the nearby JET laboratory at Harwell the town is home to a variety of industrial and scientific businesses. With the Didcot Railway Station providing rail link to Bristol and the west, Oxford and the north, and Reading, London and the east, and the M4 running not far to the south of the town, Didcot has always been a attractive home for homes and businesses who rely on good transport links.

This website hopes to provide information on where to stay, eat, and visit, with listings of local businesses and voluntary groups. And also to provide information to the residents and to visitors about the town and any events that may be happening.
